Giving Back

Understand My Mind strongly believes in giving back to the community. Our mind can only function to its full capacity when our basic needs are met — food, shelter, love, mental health, health care and other fundamental support is vital for us to live effective lives.  Because of this, one of our goals is to work with you to help our community-based organizations. We are therefore considering implementing a nominal subscription charge for future podcasts, with 15% of all proceeds per quarter going to a featured community non-profit.  An update about the featured organization and amount raised will be provided in UMM's "giving back" section, and the featured non-profit will change each quarter.  In the meantime, if you want to donate to a cause, email us your story and amount raised, and why you donated, and we will post selected stories on the site.  Alternatively, if you are a non-profit that wants to be feature, let us know how you help support the mind, and we may feature you in the "giving back" section, and possibly select you for one of our quarterly organizations.  We will also accept select advertisements on our website, and Understand My Mind will also donate 15% of all advertising proceeds to the featured non-profit.
