This month is Breast Cancer Awareness.  We hope that you will read, learn, and participate in the events that are taking place across the world. 

UMM dedicates our love and support to the amazing women, their family and friends.  Our goal is to increase awareness and share resources on this topic. We would LOVE to hear your personal stories, outreach and fundraising efforts.  We encourage ALL brave women, their family and friends to share their stories to help increase awareness and hope. On March of 2010, I registered for the "Santa Barbara 2010 Avon Walk for Breast Cancer". Why did I decide to walk and fundraise? Because my dear great aunt had been diagnosed with breast cancer.  Her name is Maria Teresa Cagigas and she is 92 years old! Her courage, faith and attitude inspired me to do something about it.
